Minimum trade size

Minimum trade size is the smallest total position value you can open or keep open for an individual trade, based on the position’s exposure including any leverage.

Approved short definition: The smallest total value for an individual position, based on total exposure. Example: Before opening or partially closing a position, check that the resulting position value meets the applicable minimum trade size. Do not use: Do not use Minimum trade size for CopyTrader, Smart Portfolio. Do not compare the minimum only with the amount invested when leverage applies. Do not suggest using or increasing leverage merely to satisfy the minimum trade size.
