Change of Residence To or From New York

Your etoro account is established based on your state of residence and the regulatory requirements that apply in that state.

Accounts cannot be transferred, converted, or maintained between New York and other states.

If you update your permanent residential address to or from New York, your existing account will be closed.

What happens to my positions?

When a change of residence to or from New York is confirmed:

• Your account will be scheduled for closure.
• Open stock positions will be liquidated.
• Open options positions will be closed or liquidated in accordance with applicable procedures and exchange rules.
• Crypto asset holdings will be sold.

Once all transactions are completed and applicable settlement periods have passed, your account will be fully closed.

When are my funds returned?

After liquidation and settlement:

• Any remaining cash balance, and
• Net proceeds from the sale of securities and crypto assets

will be returned to your original method of payment, where available and consistent with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

If the original method of payment cannot be used, funds will be returned through an alternative method permitted under applicable laws and internal compliance procedures.

All disbursements are subject to:

• Applicable securities regulations
• Virtual currency regulatory requirements
• Anti-money laundering and fraud prevention review

Additional verification may be required before funds are released. Processing times depend on market settlement cycles, banking networks, payment providers, and compliance review. Timing is not guaranteed.

Can I open a new account after moving states?

If you wish to continue using etoro after relocating:

• You must complete a new account registration under your current state of residence.
• You must accept the applicable Terms & Conditions.
• You must complete all required identity verification and compliance checks.

Approval of a new account is subject to eligibility, regulatory, and compliance review.

Important Notes

• Updating your residential address to or from New York will initiate the account closure process described above.
• You are responsible for maintaining an accurate residential address on your account.
