Do I need to pay taxes associated with activity on my etoro account?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Customers are generally expected to report and, as appropriate, pay taxes in their country of residence on income earned from stocks and crypto investing.
At etoro, this includes any realized profits and/or losses you made from closed positions and other income (such as interest, cash dividends and bonuses) generated via investment due to your activity on the etoro Investment app.
Note: This is provided for informational purposes only. etoro does not provide tax or legal advice. You should consult with a tax or legal professional to address your particular situation.
