Who Qualifies?

NY, NV, HI, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Island Residents: Ensure you have a verified and funded etoro account to start earning. Click here for more details based on your location.
Residents of All Other States: You’ll need to be approved for an options account on etoro, based on the investment goals and risk tolerance shared in your profile’s "Experience and Objectives" section here.

How Interest Works

Each day, we check your balance and apply the daily interest rate (=APR/365). The interest earned is added to your options balance monthly.

Eligibility Requirements:

Verified etoro account
Options account approval (not required for NY, NV, HI, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands)
Positive cash balance in your applicable account
US residency
Opt-in to the program

Getting Started

Open the etoro app and navigate to your Options Portfolio.
Select “Earn Interest” to begin. Approval may take up to two business days.

You can opt out at any time by contacting Customer Service.

Additional Program Details

Monthly Fee: $2 fee applies if your combined etoro account balance is under $5,000. This fee is charged by the interest provider for all accounts, however etoro covers the monthly fee for balances over $5,000.
Interest Payouts: Paid monthly, visible in your account statement, may take 4-6 weeks to process the first time.
Minimum Interest: $0.01 per month; there’s currently no maximum cap.
