How do I set a Trusted Contact?

If you’re an etoro client based in the US, you can add a Trusted Contact to your etoro account. This is a person you trust, like a family member or close friend, who you authorize etoro to contact in rare situations, only if we cannot reach you.

To set a Trusted Contact, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Account.
3. Scroll to ‘Set a Trusted Contact’ and click Set.
4. Enter the name, email address, and phone number of your trusted contact.
5. Confirm they are over 18 years of age.
6. Click Submit.

Naming a trusted contact helps etoro protect your account by allowing us to verify your well-being and contact information. Your trusted contact will not have access to your account or be able to make decisions on your behalf.
