When logging into your etoro account, you’ll need to go through two-factor authentication (2FA). This means that we verify your identity not only via your password, but also via a second authentication method.
If you have a phone/tablet that is trusted, and there’s an attempt to log in from a different device or browser, you will receive a push notification on your trusted device.
The push notification is a message containing a verification code that pops up on your trusted device from the etoro app, even when the app is not open. Once you enter the correct code on the device or browser you’re logging in from, you’ll be able to access your account.
