Is etoro regulated?

As a multi-asset broker with millions of clients, etoro is regulated in multiple jurisdictions. We offer our services through several regulated etoro entities in over 70 countries worldwide. Each entity covers a distinct region and adheres to a local regulatory framework. Therefore, there is a difference in the services, protections, and limitations offered to clients by each etoro entity.

Stock trading in the United States is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory

Authority (FINRA), and other entities. etoro follows all SEC and FINRA regulations in the United States.

Securities-only accounts, regulated by FINRA and the SEC, are available by request for clients who do not intend to trade crypto on etoro.

Depending on the client’s residence, in the U.S., etoro’s online platform is offered by etoro USA LLC or etoro NY LLC (MT #104940) ( VC #122584), which are registered with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ("FinCEN") as Money Services Businesses ("MSB"), as well as with applicable state-level regulators.
