A corporate action is any activity that brings material change to an organization and impacts its stakeholders, including shareholders.

These events are generally approved by the board of directors and fall into two groups, mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.

Mandatory corporate actions occur with no action on your behalf. Voluntary corporate actions may have options available for you to select from.
