What is a limited margin account and how do I get one for etoro Options?

etoro supports limited margin accounts to allow for options spread trading.
Unlike a traditional margin account, a limited margin account will not offer leverage on the assets in your account to generate additional buying power.
However, a limited-margin account is required to execute spread trades.
If you are interested in a limited margin account:
- Navigate to the asset of your choice in the etoro app.
- Tap Trade Options on the asset.
- When asked which direction you think the asset will go, scroll down and select Advanced Mode.
- Select Spreads.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request.
