Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) allow you to invest in a group of companies or other assets like commodities or bonds. When they’re traded on the stock market, they’re known as ETFs. Most ETFs track indexes, such as a stock or bond index. They're occasionally built to follow particular investment strategies or sectors, like technology or manufacturing. When you buy shares of an ETF, you’re tracking the return of the portfolio of assets held by the ETF.
