What is the default Copy Stop Loss for CopyTrader and Smart Portfolios?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
When you start copying a trader or when you open a Smart Portfolio, the default Copy Stop Loss is set at 5% of your invested amount.
This means that the Copy or the Smart Portfolio will close if its value drops below 5% - in other words, if you lose 95% of your investment.
You can adjust the Copy Stop Loss (CSL) to your preferred level of exposure at any time.
