What is the etoro Account Statement?

You can generate a report showing all their transactions for any period of activity on the etoro investment app via the Account Statement feature to be found in settings.

Some functionality may be limited in the etoro AI app. etoro AI users can generate a full account statement via the etoro app or the web version of etoro. 

The report includes:

• Closed Positions: shows details of all closed manual and copied trades
• Account Activity: shows details of all transactions (deposits, withdrawals, positions opened, corporate actions, and closed, fees, dividends, etc.).
• Financial Summary: shows a summary of profit or loss, fees and commissions that can be used to calculate the taxable income that you may need to include in your tax return.

You can get the report directly in the app or download it as a PDF or XLS file.

This report may be useful when preparing for your tax filings in several ways, including:

• Overview: It provides a summary of etoro trading activity including your gains and losses for crypto, and stocks/ETF (but not for etoro Options activity).
• Cost basis: It provides the cost basis for each trade you closed.
• Crypto transfers: If you’ve redeemed crypto assets to the etoro Money wallet, these transactions will be labeled as “Wallet Transfers” in order to avoid them being considered as closed positions thus avoiding a taxable event.
• Share report with your tax professional: This document will provide the data that your tax professional needs when preparing your filing for crypto and stocks / ETF trading activity.
• Upload report to crypto tax software provider: You can upload with the XLS version of this report to certain crypto tax software providers that you may use for tax filing purposes.

The account statement is only available for your activity in the etoro Investment platform. It currently doesn't support your activity in the etoro Options app.
