The minimum amount required to invest in a Thematic Market Portfolio or Partner Portfolio is $500. For Top Trader Portfolios, the minimum is $5,000.
We set a minimum amount required to open a Smart Portfolio to ensure there are enough funds in the available balance to open all of the positions.
The reason TopTrader Portfolios require a higher minimum investment is that they operate like multiple investors, all working for you at the same time. As such, there are many underlying positions that are open on your behalf.
