If you request a withdrawal from your etoro investment account via wire transfer and it isn’t already linked to a bank or PayPal account, we’ll ask you to link a new payment method.
To do this, you’ll need to make a new deposit of at least $1. This is not a fee - you’ll be able to withdraw it along with the rest of your funds as soon as it clears.
To link a bank account or a PayPal account to your etoro investment account:
- Press on “Link my account via deposit” (or on the left-hand navigation go to “Deposit Funds”).
- Choose an amount to fund your account. $1 is the minimum amount.
- Press on the dropdown arrow next to the payment method.
- Select Bank Account or PayPal. Debit card deposits cannot be used for this process. If you choose Bank Account, select your bank from the list.
- Enter the credentials of your payment method.
- Press “Deposit” to complete the process.
As soon as your deposit is approved, you may request to withdraw funds to the linked payment method.
Important Notes
- Deposits via PayPal are accepted from the PayPal balance or linked bank accounts only.
- You can withdraw funds deposited via PayPal immediately, while funds deposited from a linked bank account can only be withdrawn after 7 days.
- If you are having trouble connecting to your bank account on your etoro mobile app, try going to our website, either on your mobile web browser or on your computer.
