Can I change the currency of my etoro account?

The etoro investment account operates in USD only.

However, you can choose to display your portfolio value in any of the currencies we offer, based on the live exchange rates shown on etoro. Doing so will not change the currency of any other figures on the platform.

To change the currency your portfolio value is displayed in:

1. Go to General Settings (On the web version of etoro: Click ⚙️ Settings in the left-hand menu, then click on General. On the etoro mobile app: tap on at the top of the screen, then tap Settings ⚙️ and General).
2. Under 'Currency', click on the current display currency.
3. Select your preferred currency.

On the web version of etoro, you can also change the currency by clicking on your Portfolio Value at the bottom right of the 'Watchlist' or 'Portfolio' screens.

etoro also offers the option to open a local currency account, in addition to your USD investment account, which allows you to deposit and hold funds in that currency and use them to open trades.
