How do I close my local currency account?

Your local currency account allows you to deposit and withdraw in your local currency, while your main etoro investment account is in USD.

If you only want to close your local currency account:

1. Withdraw any funds remaining in your local currency account, either by moving them to your USD account or by sending a payment to your bank account.
2. Contact Customer Service to request closing your local currency account.

If you want to close both your USD account and your local currency account:

1. Log in to your etoro account.
2. Click Settings ⚙️, then Account.
3. Scroll down and click Close your etoro account.

Once your etoro accounts are closed, they cannot be reopened.

To resume trading on etoro, you can open a new account at any time.
