How do I open a local currency account?

Alongside the main investment account in USD, etoro offers clients in eligible countries a local currency account. Check eligibility.

To open a local currency account, follow these steps:

1. Select Wallet (in the sidebar on the web platform; at the bottom of the screen in the etoro mobile app).
2. Select Open (your local currency) account.
3. Read and accept the terms and conditions.

Setting up your local currency account is usually instant. Your account details will be shown, allowing you to add funds if you wish.

If creating the account takes longer than expected, we’ll email you as soon as it's ready.
