How do I transfer my existing ISA to etoro?

The etoro ISA, powered by Moneyfarm, allows you to transfer in your existing Cash ISAs and Stocks and Shares ISAs from other providers.

To transfer your ISA to etoro, first set up your new etoro ISA by choosing your preferred ISA type and signing the terms and conditions. Once you’ve done that, follow the steps below.

On the etoro mobile app:

1. Open the side menu.
2. Go to the ISA section.
3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Select Transfer an ISA.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request.

On the web version of etoro:

1. Go to the ISA section in the side menu.
2. Tap Transfer an ISA in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request.

The transfer process is then handled by Moneyfarm. You don’t need to contact your current provider; Moneyfarm will do this for you.

How long will my transfer take?

Cash ISA transfers typically take 1 to 3 weeks, and Stocks & Shares and Managed ISA transfers typically take 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the speed of your current provider.

How do I check the status of my ISA Transfer?

Once you’ve requested a transfer, you can see the status on your dashboard:

You can also follow these steps to check all your transfer statuses:

1. Navigate to your ISA dashboard.
2. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Select Funding details.
4. Switch to the ISA Transfers tab.

Important notes:

• To transfer the ISA, its value must be at least£500.
• You must use the ISA transfer service provided by Moneyfarm to transfer your ISA and follow the instructions as provided. Withdrawing your ISA funds and transferring them yourself may result in you losing your ISA allowance.
• In order to qualify for the boosted Cash ISA rate or cashback offer, you must deposit a minimum of £500 or transfer a minimum of £15,000.
