Can I upgrade my local currency account?

Yes, local currency account* upgrades happen automatically, based on your etoro Club tier. Each Club tier corresponds to either the Green or Black etoro Money programme, with each offering distinct benefits.

In the UK:

• Bronze clients are eligible for the Green programme without the etoro Visa debit card.
• etoro Club members in the Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers are eligible for the Green programme, including the green etoro card.
• Club members in the Platinum+ and Diamond tiers are eligible for the Black programme, including the Black etoro card.

In the rest of Europe:

• Platinum Club members are eligible for the Green programme, including the green etoro card.
• Club members in the Platinum+ and Diamond tiers are eligible for the Black programme, including the Black etoro card.

Upgrades

If you upgrade to the Platinum+ or Diamond Club tier by meeting the applicable balance requirements, your local currency account automatically moves from Green to Black.

When you become eligible for an etoro Visa debit card, we'll notify you and give you the option to order it.

You can also choose to subscribe to the etoro Club to access premium benefits, including the Green or Black etoro Visa debit card (depending on your subscription tier), without needing to meet the Club Tier balance requirement.
