How does the etoro Visa debit card work?

The etoro Visa debit card is linked to your local currency account. You can use the etoro card just like any debit card* to pay and shop in store, online, and abroad, with no FX fees.**

It is currently available for:

• All etoro Club members in the UK (GBP account)
• Platinum, Platinum+ and Diamond Club members in other European countries, subject to eligibility (EUR account)

If you’re eligible for the card, we’ll notify you and give you the option to order one.

3D Secure (3DS) verification for online payments

To help prevent online fraud, etoro applies 3D Secure (3DS) as an additional layer of security for certain online card transactions.

When required, you will need to approve the payment in the etoro investment app to complete the transaction.

Approve a 3DS payment

1. Ensure you have the latest version of the etoro app installed.
2. Turn on push notifications for the etoro app on your device.
3. When prompted, approve the transaction in the app.

If notifications are turned off or your app is not updated, you may not receive the approval request, and the transaction may be declined.

If your payment is declined and the retailer did not prompt you to approve the transaction in the app, contact the retailer directly to arrange another payment method.
