Last updated: 12 August 2026
The time it takes to send or receive money using your local currency account can vary depending on your region and the currency of your account.
Below is an overview of the supported currencies, including the payment methods and typical processing times:
GBP account (UK)
- Faster Payments – typically arrive within seconds
EUR account (Europe)
- SEPA Instant Payment – processed almost immediately, if supported by both your bank and the payee’s bank
- SEPA Credit Transfer – typically completed within one working day, but may take up to three business days in some cases
DKK account (Denmark)
- KRONOS2/Intradag – usually instant but may take up to 48 hours in some cases
AUD account (Australia)
- NPP payment – usually instant
- BECS payment - typically completed within one working day, but may take up to three business days in some cases
These processing times may be affected by bank schedules, public holidays, or clearance procedures. Some outbound payments may take up to 48 hours to process due to internal checks. During this time, the transaction shows as ‘Pending’ in the Wallet tab, and you still have the option to cancel it.
We’ll notify you by email once the payment is processed. In rare instances where a payment is rejected, the funds will return to your local currency account.
If a payment does not arrive within two business days, please contact Customer Service.
