VAT Invoices for UAE Residents
Last updated: 12 August 2026
As etoro is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) in the UAE, we are legally required to issue VAT invoices for all taxable services provided to clients of our UAE-based entity, etoro (ME) Ltd.
What is the VAT invoice?
Your VAT invoice is an official tax document that shows the VAT charged on services provided by etoro. It includes:
- etoro’s Tax Registration Number (TRN)
- a unique invoice number
- your name and address
- the invoice date and period covered
- a list of all fees paid that were subject to VAT, including:
- a description of the fee
- gross and net amounts in both USD and AED
- the value of VAT paid in both USD and AED
Why do I need a VAT invoice?
The use of the invoice depends on whether you are VAT registered.
- If you are VAT registered, you can use the invoice to reclaim input VAT through your UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) VAT return, provided the service was for business use.
- If you're not VAT registered, you can't reclaim VAT, but should retain the invoice for your records as proof that VAT was correctly charged.
Where can I find my VAT invoice?
To access your VAT invoices, go to Settings > Account > Documents.
The invoice is automatically generated on the first day of each month, and you’ll receive a notification when it's ready.
If you need to make an adjustment to your personal details on your invoice, please contact our Customer Service Team.
