However, due to local regulations, there are some specific limitations for Australian residents.
We ask all clients questions on their financial experience and objectives when they open an etoro account. Based on the answers provided, we may deem CFD trading unsuitable.
This means that certain clients may not have the options to open short positions and use leverage, and trading commodities, currencies, and indices may not be available.
If a client’s circumstances change, CFD trading may become available or remain restricted, depending on their new situation. There are limits on the frequency with which answers can be updated. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage.
