What is UAE PASS, and how can I verify my account with it?

UAE PASS is the United Arab Emirates national digital identity app, enabling residents and citizens to verify their identity, access services, and complete transactions securely with one login.

New etoro users in the UAE now have the option to verify their identity through UAE PASS when signing up to etoro on our mobile app. Web support will be added in a future update.

Who can use UAE PASS for verification?

Currently, UAE PASS is available only to new etoro clients residing in the UAE, via the etoro mobile app.

Why should I verify my etoro account with UAE PASS?

Verifying your etoro account with UAE PASS is fast and secure. By automatically providing verified identity and address details directly to etoro, you won’t need to upload documents manually.

What verification information can UAE PASS provide?

UAE PASS can provide etoro with details on your:

• Proof of identity.
• Proof of address.
• Verified phone number and email address.

How can I use it to verify my etoro account?

When you go to set up your account, you will see the option to continue with UAE PASS, or to sign up manually.

If you have the UAE PASS app on your phone, you’ll be redirected to it. If you don’t, there will be a QR code that you can scan with your device that has the UAE PASS app installed.

Once you have finished the steps in the UAE PASS app, you can proceed with creating your profile on etoro.

What happens if my proof of address isn’t verified via UAE PASS?

If only your proof of identity is verified through UAE PASS, you can deposit and trade up to $15,000 until you fully verify your account by uploading your proof of address document via your Verification Centre.

How do I update my documents if they expire?

You won’t be able to update expired documents via UAE PASS. If you need to update a document, upload new documents via your Verification Centre.
