Funding your Zengo wallet from your etoro account

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Eligible clients can now fund their Zengo wallets directly from their etoro accounts.

How do I transfer funds to my Zengo wallet?

  1. Open the Zengo app.
  2. Select Transfer USDC from etoro.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the transfer.

Am I eligible to fund Zengo with my etoro balance?

To be eligible, you must have:

  • a fully verified etoro account
  • completed your first deposit with etoro
  • funds in your balance
  • accepted the etoro Crypto Wallet Terms & Conditions
  • an account with one of the following etoro entities:
  • etoro (UK) Ltd
  • etoro (Europe) Ltd
  • etoro (ME) Ltd
  • etoro (Seychelles) Ltd

Check your account’s etoro entity at the bottom of the Verification Centre.

How does it work?

When you initiate a transfer, etoro debits your USD balance and purchases USDC on a 1:1 basis, which is then transferred to your Zengo wallet. With your first transfer, a small amount of POL (approximately $0.05) is also sent to help facilitate a future transaction on the Zengo wallet.

Why do I receive POL with my USDC?

USDC sent to your Zengo wallet arrives on the Polygon network, which uses POL to pay network fees. etoro includes a small amount of POL with your transfer, so your USDC is immediately usable.

Are there any fees charged by etoro?

No. etoro does not charge fees for funding your Zengo wallet using your etoro balance.

Is there a minimum and maximum transfer amount?

Yes. The minimum and maximum transfer limits from etoro to your Zengo wallet are $30 and $20,000 per transaction, respectively.

How long does a transfer take?

Most transfers are completed within five minutes, but may take up to one hour. If additional review or processing is required, it may take longer.

Can transfers be delayed or reviewed?

Yes. As with other outbound transactions, certain transfers may be flagged for manual review, which could affect processing time.

Will I be notified when my funds arrive?

To track your transfer, go to the Cashflow section on etoro. For notifications when funds arrive in your Zengo wallet, check Zengo's notification settings and Help Center.

Can I cancel the transfer?

Yes. You can cancel a transfer while it is still pending in the Cashflow section on etoro, just like a regular etoro withdrawal. Once processed, it can no longer be cancelled.

Does the Travel Rule apply to these transfers?

Yes. However, since your Zengo wallet is linked to your etoro account through the login connection, wallet ownership is already verified and additional Travel Rule verification is not required.

Can I reverse a transfer?

No. Once crypto has been transferred to your Zengo wallet, the transaction is irreversible. Ensure all transfer details are correct before confirming.

Do not send any crypto assets from the Zengo wallet back to the etoro originating address. Follow the instructions below to return funds to etoro.

Can I send funds back to etoro from Zengo?

Yes. Supported crypto assets on supported blockchains can be sent back to your etoro crypto wallet by copying your relevant etoro crypto wallet address and initiating a transfer from within the Zengo app. Please check our full list of supported assets and networks before sending, as crypto assets sent on the wrong network may be lost.
