How do I create a crypto wallet on etoro?

On etoro, you can create a wallet for a specific cryptoasset in two ways: by transferring an existing crypto position from your investment portfolio, or by creating a wallet directly, where available.

Creating a wallet by transferring a position

If you hold an eligible crypto position in your portfolio, you can transfer it to the etoro crypto wallet. The wallet for that cryptoasset is created automatically as part of the transfer process.

In addition to the transfer fee, some blockchains require a small fee in units of the cryptoasset to create the wallet.

Creating a wallet directly

1. Go to the Wallet tab.
2. Select Create Wallet.
3. Choose a cryptoasset and press the + icon next to it.

Currently, you can only create wallets for cryptoassets that can be sold in the wallet.
