How do I deposit with a credit or debit card?

Deposit with a credit or debit card

1. Open the left sidebar and select Deposit Funds
2. Choose your preferred currency and amount.
3. Select Credit / Debit Card as your payment method.
4. Enter your card details:

• Card number
• Expiry date
• CVV (3 digits on the back of your card)
• Name on the card

1. Review the details and press Deposit. Your card issuer may require additional authentication before processing the deposit.

Card payments usually appear in your etoro account within minutes. If the deposit is not approved, we’ll notify you by email.

Card requirements

• Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or Visa Electron
• Card ownership: the card must be in your name
• Security code: the card must have a 3-digit CVV code on the back
• Refunds and withdrawals: the card must be able to receive funds back from etoro

Recurring card deposits and investments

• Recurring deposits: schedule regular card deposits into your etoro USD account
• Recurring investments: use your card to set up regular investments in supported assets

Regional limitations for card deposits

• Spain: only debit cards are accepted
• Poland: you can use a credit card after your first deposit with another payment method
• Clients of etoro (UK) Ltd: only debit cards are accepted – check which etoro entity your account is under
