How do I earn staking rewards?

Staking is automatically enabled for most etoro clients. If you are a client of etoro (Europe) Ltd, you will need to opt in to receive staking rewards.

For all clients, if you wish to receive Ethereum (ETH) staking rewards, you must enable ETH staking separately.

To enable or disable staking

1. Log in to your etoro investment account.
2. Click Settings > Trading > Staking Program.
3. Use the switch to turn staking ON or OFF.

There is a separate switch to enable or disable Ethereum (ETH) staking.

Eligible crypto positions

etoro staking applies to real crypto positions held in your investment portfolio for the following supported cryptoassets:

• Avalanche (AVAX)
• Cardano (ADA)
• Cosmos (ATOM)
• Ethereum (ETH)
• Near Protocol (NEAR)
• Polkadot (DOT)
• Polygon (POL)
• Solana (SOL)
• Sui (SUI)
• Tron (TRX)

Crypto CFD positions and crypto held in the etoro crypto wallet are not eligible for staking.

How do I receive my staking rewards?

Rewards are paid in the same cryptoasset that is staked, and appear in your portfolio labelled 'Staking'. In rare cases where crypto positions cannot be distributed, rewards may be credited to your available cash balance instead.

When will I receive my staking rewards?

Staking rewards for a given month are distributed within the first 14 days of the following month, accompanied by an email explaining how the amount was calculated.

Whyhaven'tIreceivedmystaking rewards?

There are several reasons why you may not have received a staking reward for a particular month:

• Introperiodnotcompleted: each supported cryptoasset has an intro period during which rewards do not accrue, for most assets this is seven days, for Cardano (ADA) it is nine days, and for Ethereum (ETH) it is typically longer but varies.
• Rewardvaluebelow$1: staking rewards are only credited if their total value for the month is $1 or more.
• Accountlimitation: clients with account restrictions do not receive staking rewards for that period.
• Stakingnotenabled: if you are a client of etoro (Europe) Ltd, you must have opted in. Furthermore, ETH staking must be enabled separately.

Importantnotes

• Clientsin Germany: the staking service is only available to clients whose crypto is under the custody of etoro (Europe) Ltd. Clients whose crypto is under Tangany must move crypto custody to etoro (Europe) Ltd to access staking
• Clients of etoro (ME) Ltd: staking is not available for Tron (TRX)
