How do I receive cryptoassets to my etoro crypto wallet?

Depending on the country you live in, sending and receiving cryptoassets may involve additional steps due to regulatory requirements.

To receive crypto from an external wallet to your etoro crypto wallet.

  1. Go to the Wallet tab.
  2. Under Crypto Wallet, select the type of crypto you wish to receive.
  3. Press Receive.
  4. Press Copy under your public address so that you can then paste it into a message for the person sending the crypto.

Alternatively, the sender can scan the QR code to input your public address automatically.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Crypto.
  2. Select the crypto you wish to receive.
  3. Use the QR code, or copy and paste your wallet's address over to your sending wallet.

To check the validity of a public key, you can go to an online blockchain explorer for the relevant crypto.
