Trading 24/7 on etoro
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Alongside assets traded during regular market hours, etoro offers some assets that can be traded as CFDs without weekend breaks, giving you the flexibility to react to market movements over the weekend.
Each 24/7 asset corresponds to a regular asset. You can find it by searching for the same asset with a ticker ending in ‘.24-7’, for example, GOLD.24-7.
How 24/7 trading works on etoro
Before opening a position, make sure you understand what 24/7 assets are, how orders work, and how trading conditions outside main trading sessions can affect your position.
Available order types and leverage
- Positions on 24/7 assets can be opened and closed during all trading sessions using market orders.
- Limit orders are not available.
- Stop Loss and Take Profit are supported; however, availability and behaviour may vary by asset. Before opening a position, review the details shown on the Trade screen.
- Leverage options may differ from those available for the corresponding regular asset.
Trading hours
- Trading is available 24/7, including weekends.
- There are short daily breaks on weekdays, as well as before and after the weekend session. Check the market hours page for details
Asset pricing
- When primary exchanges are closed for the weekend, prices reflect activity in other global markets where related instruments continue trading.
- Orders will execute at the best available price, which may differ from the displayed price or recent market reference prices.
Fees
- etoro’s standard CFD fees apply. Review our fees and commissions
- Overnight fees for 24/7 assets are charged daily, including weekends.
Market conditions and risk considerations
- There may be fewer market participants, which can lead to:
- lower liquidity
- wider spreads
- higher market volatility
- Prices can move significantly over the weekend, and price gaps may occur when the weekend session begins and when regular market hours resume. As a result, your position may close at a price that is higher or lower than your chosen Stop Loss or Take Profit level.
- Negative balance protection applies.
