ERC20 tokens are digital assets created and used exclusively on the Ethereum platform. They are designed to follow a set of standards that allow them to be shared, exchanged, or transferred to a crypto wallet. These tokens are created through a program called SmartContracts.
Plenty of well-known tokens use the ERC-20 standard. Some popular examples are Tether USD (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Can I receive ERC20 tokens to the etoro crypto wallet?
Before receiving ERC20 tokens in the etoro crypto wallet, it's essential to check that the token is supported and that you possess an active wallet for the respective token, which can only be created by first transferring a position from the etoro platform.
