What is a crypto transfer on etoro?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
On etoro, transferring crypto means moving a supported cryptoasset between your etoro portfolio and your etoro crypto wallet. Depending on the cryptoasset and your country of residence*, one or both of the following transfer directions may be available:
- From portfolio to wallet – transfer a crypto position** from your etoro portfolio into your etoro crypto wallet.
- From wallet to portfolio – transfer an amount of a cryptoasset in your wallet to your etoro portfolio, where it will appear as an open position.
These transfers are made within etoro. Sending crypto to external wallets or receiving crypto from external wallets are separate actions.
Transfers may be subject to blockchain fees or etoro fees, depending on the cryptoasset and transfer direction. Account and position requirements apply.
* Transferring crypto from the etoro crypto wallet to the etoro portfolio is not currently available to residents of the following countries and territories:
- Bermuda
- Hungary
- Isle of Man
- Jersey Island
- Saint Barthelemy
- South Africa
- United States
- Virgin Islands
**Each position must be transferred individually. It is not possible to combine multiple positions on one crypto into a single transfer.
