What if my etoro Visa debit card is swallowed by an ATM?

There are many reasons why a card can be swallowed by an ATM. Some of the common reasons are the following:
- Faulty card
- Faulty ATM (in certain cases, an ATM may have been tampered with)
- Incorrect PIN entered repeatedly
- Card is blocked (for example fraud, account closed...)
If your card is swallowed by an ATM, you must report your card as lost/stolen to avoid misuse of the card.
In most cases, the ATM will destroy the card, which is why you need to initiate the request of a new card.
