What is the watchlist?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
The Watchlist is your personal trading dashboard. It allows you to keep a close eye on all the markets, people, and Smart Portfolios you’re following.
The default items on your Watchlist are based on your most recent investments. You can add or remove items whenever you want.
These are some of the main elements you can find in a Watchlist, depending on the item:
- Markets
*Change*
The Change figures and graph show the change in rates within the selected time frame. By clicking on the time frame, you can switch between:
- 1D - Daily change - Select the 1 day time period to see the change from the last rate of the previous trading day to the current rate.
- 1W - Weekly change - Select the 1 week time period to see the change from the last rate of the previous Friday to the current rate.
- 1M - Monthly change - Select the 1 month time period to see the change from the last rate of the last trading day of the previous month to the current rate.
*Sell and Buy*
These boxes show the current Sell and Buy prices of the instrument in the market.
*52W Range*
The 52W Range shows the lowest and highest SELL prices that the asset reached in the last 52 weeks. The downwards arrowhead indicates the current SELL price.
*Sentiment*
The Sentiment shows how clients on etoro are trading a specific instrument. These figures are an automatic aggregate of BUY/HOLD/SELL signals from 8 of the most commonly used technical indicators, to give you a quick pulse of the market. Roll your mouse over the figure to see the breakdown.
- People and Smart Portfolios
*Return*
The Return figure shows the investor or Smart Portfolio’s profits / losses within the selected time frame. By clicking on the time frame, you can switch between:
- 1M - Return in the last 1 month
- 3M - Return in the last 3 months
- 6M - Return in the last 6 months
*Risk Score*
The risk score shows how risky the investment is. The score is calculated from 1 to 10, where 1 is the lowest possible risk, and 10 is the highest possible risk.
*Copiers / Investors*
This shows the number of etoro users investing via the person or Smart Portfolio.
*Change*
It is not the same as change for markets. It refers to the change in total Copiers of the investor. The Change is displayed according to the Return timeframe (1 month, 3 months, 6 months).
