What should I do if my bank account has been closed?

Although we offer a choice of payment methods when you withdraw funds from your etoro account, we may have to refund the original deposits where we deem it necessary to ensure the security of your funds.

You should contact us if a bank account you used to deposit to your etoro account has been closed, but still appears in your payment options when withdrawing your funds.

To exclude the closed bank account from being used in future withdrawals, we need an official confirmation of the closure from your bank, showing:

• Your full name
• The bank’s stamp or logo
• The account number of the closed account
• Any credit cards linked to the bank account (if you used them to deposit into your etoro account)

Once we receive confirmation that the bank account has been closed, we’ll remove the details from our system. You’ll no longer have the option to withdraw funds from your etoro account to that bank account, and we will process your funds to an alternative payment method.
