Why is an asset temporarily unavailable?

When you place an order with us, we work with liquidity providers to fill it. Under exceptional circumstances, etoro, our providers, or exchanges may temporarily limit access to particular assets. This can be for a number of reasons: a lack of liquidity, inflated price spreads, a loading issue, or extreme market volatility.
Typically, these circumstances last seconds but under unusual conditions, specific assets may be unavailable for several minutes or longer. When this happens, refresh and try again. You can also check an asset’s news feed for real-time info about it.
Additionally, we keep you informed of our systems' availability and report any technical issues on our status page.
