Are there conversion fees?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Yes. Conversion fees apply for the majority of occasions when we need to convert from one currency to another, including when you:
- deposit funds
- withdraw funds
- open and close positions
- receive dividends
Conversion fees can vary depending on whether you're using your local currency account* or your etoro investment USD account. The fees can also vary according to the payment method you use, the currencies involved, and your etoro Club level.
If you deposit or withdraw funds in a currency we don’t support, any fee for converting to or from USD is charged by your payment provider, not by etoro.
When you buy a non-US stock using your USD account, or receive non-USD dividends, the CFD FX rate is used for the conversion. This rate includes etoro’s spread fee for the relevant currency pair.

*The following local currency accounts are available in eligible countries: GBP, EUR, AUD, DKK. Additional currencies will be added as they launch.
