Which fees and commissions does etoro have?

There are a number of fee types on etoro:
Stocks
- Commission on stock: when you invest in stocks, a fee of $1 or $2 may apply, depending on your country and the stock exchange.
- Conversion fee: applies where the asset is priced in a different currency than your account..
Crypto
- Opening/Closing spread: a standard 1% fee charged to your available balance each time you buy or sell a cryptoasset on etoro. For Platinum, Platinum+, and Diamond Club members, a tiered fee structure applies based on your manual real crypto trading volume. Learn more about the tiered fee structure
CFDs (Contracts for Difference)
- Stocks and ETFs
- Opening/Closing spread: a 0.15% fee charged to your available balance each time you buy a CFD stock or ETF. For US-listed stocks and ETFs priced at $3 or less, a $0.02 per-share opening/closing spread is applied instead.
- Crypto
- Opening/Closing spread: a 1% fee charged to your available balance each time you buy or sell a CFD cryptoasset on etoro.
- Commodities, currency pairs, and Indices
- Spread fee: a markup added by etoro to the market spread. The amount varies according to the instrument.
- Other fees
- Overnight fee: a payment for holding a CFD position overnight.
- Conversion fee: applies where the asset is priced in a different currency than your account.
- Administrative fee: A fixed fee that only applies to trades in etoro Swap-Free accounts.
Futures
- Commission: etoro charges a fixed commission per position for Micro futures and per contract for Spot-Quoted Futures, applied on both open and close of the position.
- Overnight fee: a payment for holding Spot-Quoted Futures position overnight.
Account Activity
- Withdrawal fee: all withdrawal requests are subject to a $5 USD fee.
- Conversion fee: applies to non-USD deposits and withdrawals.
There are also fees associated with transferring crypto and using the etoro crypto wallet.
In addition to fees, dividends may be credited to or debited from your available balance.
