Why does the spread vary?
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Spreads on etoro are variable and may change depending on market conditions. Instruments that tend to be more volatile are likely to have wider spread fluctuations than those that are generally more stable.
As a result, the spread applied when opening or closing a position may not always be the same. However, etoro seeks to provide the best rates possible at all times and works only with top-tier liquidity providers.
